  9. PLANSTAR is a computerised astronomical almanach showing position of planets,
  10. the Moon and Jupiter's moons with highest accuracy for period 1700 to 2100 AD 
  11. both in tabular and graphical form.

  14. Disc with PLANSTAR (Ver. 1) contains following files:
  15.  
  16.      Msherc.com.....Hercules graphics file
  17.  
  18.      Planstar.cfg...configuration file (if missing will be created by Planstar)
  19.      
  20.      Planstar.exe...main program file
  21.  
  22.      Readme.1st.....this file
  23.  
  24.      PS.bat.........batch file to configure and run PLANSTAR in CGA,
  25.                     EGA or Hercules graphics
  26.  
  27.      Psdemo.pic.....demo of star map (used by main program)
  28.  
  29. You can copy all files to the same subdirectory on hard disc or 
  30. on floppy disc. If you are running the program from the floppy disc drive, 
  31. keep the disc ( back-up disc ) in the drive while using the program 
  32. (the program writes to the disc when using HELP feature).

  34. The PLANSTAR works best with a math coprocessor (8087 / 80287).
  35.  
  36. Install and/or run the PLANSTAR by typing "PS" and then press Return.
  37. During the installation a file Planstar.cfg will be created.

  39. Graphics mode examples: 
  40.         Amstrad PC1512 (MM or CM) ... select 1
  41.         Amstrad PC1640 (MM)...........select 2
  42.         Amstrad PC1640 (CM)...........select 1
  43.         Amstrad PC1640 (ECD)..........select 4

  45. To change configuration reinstall program by typing "PLANSTAR INSTALL" and 
  46. then press Return.
  47.  
  48. New version of PLANSTAR (ver. 2) shows also stars and it is available
